As an Enterprise Infrastructure and Security Architect, you will provide thought leadership and strategic direction on technology and architecture matters. You will ensure that our technology initiatives align with our long-term business objectives and target state architecture, particularly regarding public/private cloud, SaaS services. This role requires a forward-thinking individual who can foster collaboration among technology partners, balance diverse cloud adoption objectives, and champion best practices and governance standards across our core technology platforms.

You will strategically balance diverse objectives for multi-cloud and hybrid-cloud adoption, ensuring appropriate value, risk, and engineering autonomy. You will guide on-prem to cloud migrations (AWS & Azure) aligned with the target state architecture, emphasizing best practices, reuse, security, reliability, performance, and cost optimization.

Working closely with key partners, including enterprise quality, security, and cost management, you will define standards for cloud services. Promoting conformance to the target state architecture, standard methodologies and tools, software and platform reuse, and generating passion for adoption will be a fundamental part of your role.

At least 5 years of experience in an enterprise architect role.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5+ years of leadership experience in high-powered engineering organizations with well-crafted hyper-scale cloud deployments. You should have proven experience working in sophisticated technology ecosystems, including large-scale cloud estates, large data sets, ETL, virtualization, storage, and Containers/Kubernetes. Solid experience with Zero Trust, IAM, networking, and security, as well as Disaster Recovery strategy and implementation in an enterprise setting, are also a must. Demonstrated ability to build relationships, foster consensus, and collaborate effectively with a broad range of technical partners is required.

Foundational understanding of both current and legacy technologies in areas such as application platforms (e.g., cloud platforms, legacy platforms), SDLC practices, integration patterns, and automated testing is crucial.

You should have a good understanding of Cloud Ready, Cloud Native, and Cloud Compatible environments. Passion for automation, with proven proficiency and determination to find ways to automate and streamline processes and practices, is a must. Security-minded with experience and outspoken approaches to integrating security and compliance considerations into cloud services is essential.
