We are looking for an SAP SD Senior technical analyst/lead with broad experience and deep technical skills to work with us to develop solutions that
will integrate our order management and service delivery functions to a vast array of modern customer centric sales motions.
Responsibilities:
- Participates as a member of and leads development teams. Performs analysis of complex functional and business requirements. Prepares code stubs for others. Completes code to implement solutions. Designs solutions for others to code. Participates in cross-functional teams. Leads design activities May provide mentoring and guidance to other developers. Designs, prepares and executes Unit tests. Represents team to client/customers.
- Demonstrates technical leadership, and exerts influence outside of immediate team. Develops innovative team solutions to complex problems. Contributes to strategic direction for teams.
- Applies in-depth or broad technical knowledge to provide maintenance solutions across one or more technology areas (e.g. Database Administration).
- Performs solution design. Applies the company and 3rd party technologies and leads design of highly complex infrastructure and software solutions.
- Independently implements end- user or enterprise infrastructure or services of significant complexity.
- Integrates technical expertise and business understanding to create superior solutions for the company and customers. Mentors and consults with team members and other organizations, customer and vendors on complex issues.
Education and Experience Required:
- Typically a technical Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 10 years of related experience or a Master's degree and a minimum of 8 years of experience.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Develop and lead implementation of solutions in SD Orders to Cash with an emphasis on services contracts.
- Establishes and maintains relationships with key tactical leaders and business implementation leads. Uses deep business knowledge of multiple businesses or sub- domains to drive engagement for major IT initiatives. Influences overall IT and business planning; engages in strategic business planning where there is IT impact.
- Actively participates in IT projects to ensure that business, function, and geography “customers” are included appropriately and ensures that they receive sufficient and timely communications.
- Develops request for proposals/quote, works to develop project proposals and statements of work, and other engagement activities with IT service providers.
- A preponderance of time is spent in strategic and creative problem solving. Demonstrates broad project leadership, impacting significant technical direction; exerts influence outside of immediate team and drives change. Applies in-depth or broad technical knowledge to various technology areas or functions. Performs solution design.
- Collaborate with Solution Architects on project design and facilitate design reviews and discussions and provide required specifications.
- Responsible for code reviews and implementing best practices on development methodologies with both internal and external developers.
- Drive superior quality in technical deliverables, reduce or eliminate design or development defects and ensure a comprehensive System Integration Testing.
- You will drive tactical problem solving. Demonstrates broad technical leadership, impacting significant technical direction; exerts influence outside of immediate team and drives change. Applies in-depth or broad technical knowledge to various technology areas or functions. Performs solution design.
- Provides leadership to teams and integrates technical expertise and business understanding to create superior solutions for the company and customers. Consults with team members and other organizations, customer and vendors on complex issues. Mentors others in the business analysis community.
Education and Experience Required:
- Typically a technical Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 14 years related experience or a Master's degree and a minimum of 12 years of experience.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Compliance management – lead and implement compliance initiatives across the organization, ensuring adherence to international trade regulations and standards
- Trade services experties- ;leverage in-depth knowledge of trade services to facilitate efficient and compliance import and export operations. Collaborate with stakeholders to optimize trade processes and ensure seamless cross border transactions with compliant screening mechanism
- ERP process management – oversee ERP related processes by collaborating with multiple ERP teams, integrations, and automation opportunities
- Strategic initiatives & leadership- develop and drive strategic initiatives to enhance compliance , trade efficiency, operational efficiency and reporting of performance metrics
- Must have 12 or more years of experience developing complex information systems
- Key: Must have 5 years of experience supporting a large SAP Platform for a multibillion dollar company with multiple stakeholders
- Implementing SAP ERP/ECC/S4 systems with a focus on SD, MM, GTS and Installed base functions such as Service contracts; sales order processing, pricing, billing and invoicing, , functional location and equipment records.
- Must have strong knowledge on integration with FI including configuration and standards for Service revenue recognition
- Must have strong verbal and written communication skills; demonstrated influencing skills, high level of technical and team leadership skills and ability to partner effectively with business resources
- Must have understanding of modern software design patterns
- Must have experience working with multi-geography cross–functional teams
- Implementation experience of SAP RAR for new revenue standards for Service industry
- Ability to lead teams that design and document complex solution architectures from conceptual thru technical implementation
- Experience with data management, governance, and cross application data mapping
- Strong business process knowledge and association of processes to technical areas in SAP is desired.
- Experience with SAP implementation methodologies and modern software development methodologies
- Advanced understanding of software test methodologies, and experience with testing automation tools is a plus
- Exposure to several SAP modules and ability to create test data in Sales & Distribution, Materials Management, Project Systems, Service Management modules are of great value.
- Demonstrated leadership skills to lead teams and achieve results.
- Sound analytical and problem solving skills, Excellent consulting skills, Demonstrated leader, Self-confident.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills of complex and technical concepts. Demonstrates strong command of the English language.

- Experience working with multiple IT service providers and solution integrators preferred
