We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Data Management Engineer to join our DATA ENGINEERING team. This role is in Pittsburgh, PA or Lake Mary, FL– HYBRID

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

  • Serve as a subject matter expert on data governance and data quality best practices, methodologies, and Enterprise Data Policies and Standards and provide guidance and support to stakeholders across Finance, Risk and Compliance.
  • Prepare presentation materials and present at various data working groups and data governance forums.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across Finance, Risk and Compliance in understanding data challenges, pain points, and data/data quality requirements, and enable solutions via our data governance operating model.
  • Serve as the interface and primary point of contact between Finance, Risk and Compliance stakeholders and the Divisional Data Office.

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required.
  • 5-7 years of total work experience with at least 3-5 years in a data management role. Experience in compliance, risk management, finance and/or banking tech over operational activities (business analysis, testing, etc.), reference data and/or enterprise data management.
  • Experienced hands-on Data and Metadata Management, from concept to implementation with a demonstrable track record of delivery.
  • Strong stakeholder management and people skills, and the ability to manage multiple competing priorities under pressure.
  • Strong understanding of data governance principles, data quality management concepts, and regulatory requirements (e.g. BCBS 239).
