What Software & Information Platforms contributes to Cardinal Health
Information Technology oversees the effective development, delivery, and operation of computing and information services. This function anticipates, plans, and delivers Information Technology solutions and strategies that enable operations and drive business value.
Software & Information Platforms manages the technical configuration, design, administration, development, implementation and support of application and information frameworks that the organization's application solutions utilize. This job family partners with Application Development & Maintenance teams and other Information Technology function teams to identify enhancements for platforms and long-term capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Bridging the gap between project and support teams through techno-functional expertise.
- Review the feasibility of the new change requirements and provide optimal solution(s).
- Understand the functional design as well as technical design and architecture to be implemented on the ERP system.
- Provide product support and guidance to internal teams for a specific ERP solution; resolve day-to-day queries and/or technical issues which may arise.
- Support the solutioning team via integration into new and/or existing product(s) during testing & production.
- Implement the business processes, requirements and the underlying ERP technology to translate them into ERP solutions.
- Experience working with external implementation partners, collaborating with them on GTS solutions and advocating for Cardinal Health
- Draft testing scripts utilizing SAP GTS Legal Control subject matter expertise.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field preferred
- 5-8 years in SAP GTS, with GTS E4H knowledge preferred.
- Thorough knowledge of GTS Compliance legal regulations under Legal Control preferred.
- Extensive knowledge required in Legal Control on U.S. related licenses preferred.
- In-depth understanding of global trade compliance, including Compliance, Legal Regulations, Customs (Import/Export), Legal Control, and Risk Management preferred.
- Proficient in integrating SAP GTS with modules like ECC, S4/Hana, ASAPIO and external systems. Skilled in designing scalable solutions that align with business needs and SAP best practices preferred.
- Experienced in configuring and customizing SAP GTS for compliance, customs management (import/export), preference management, and product classifications preferred.
- Knowledgeable in Order-to-Cash (OTC) and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes, including Sales & Distribution (SD), Materials Management (MM), and Transportation Management (TM) integration with SAP GTS preferred.
- Familiarity with Document type mapping/Item category mapping/Master data transfer/ change pointers preferred.
- Knowledgeable of BADI enhancements in S4 for document transfer preferred.
- Familiar with S4-GTS integration enhancements, configuration and reports related to document blocks and overall document process preferred.
- Experienced in creating reviewing Solution designs and functional specification to identify business process gaps preferred.
- Thorough understanding of SAP GTS, ‘legal Control’ tables preferred.
- Experienced with integration of GTS compliance with non-SAP systems preferred.
