The Role

The Associate Director, HR Change Management is responsible for leading and supporting change management for global HR Transformation projects and initiatives, by enabling adoption and sustainability of HR process changes, systems and programs rollouts and related organizational changes.  This role reports to the Director, HR Change & Transformation and liaisons with HR leader(s), Transformation team(s), Communications and other key stakeholders, tracking milestones, raising risks and issues and reporting status.  They independently take program output and design enablement plans and supporting presentation deliverables & ensure active and visible sponsorship from leaders.

Required Skills, Experience and Circumstances:

  • Partners with senior HR leaders to delivers effective execution of change to technology processes, priorities, and initiatives.

  • Drives comprehensive change management strategies, governance, and execution across all the technology and programs initiatives for HR. Transforms behaviors and embeds new ways of working.

  • Builds relationships with key stakeholders 

  • Results oriented with a demonstrated sense of urgency and accountability to drive business value through successful changes adoption, with formal KPIs and measured results.

  • Leverages disciplined project management approach to change management projects.

  • Enable the organization to achieve business objectives, drive results, and enhance customer success.

  • Work closely with the communications team to prepare for critical events and internal/external messaging.

Required Skills, Experience and Circumstances:

  • Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent professional experience.

  • Minimum of 5+ years Organizational Change Management experience incorporating the full lifecycle of change management, working on large-scale, cross-functional transformations. 

  • Including 5+ years of HR experience required

  • Strong competence in internal communications and ability to develop clear messaging.

  • Experience developing and deploying change activities globally. Tactics include, but are not limited to, stakeholder engagement, change impact assessments, communications strategies and plan, organization design and culture assessments, training and enablement, change adoption measurement, and change readiness activities.

  • Project Management skills and ability to create project plans for execution.

  • Experience leading and/or supporting workstreams, identifying and executing deliverables within your assigned project and supporting the overall management of project timelines. 

  • Excellent written and oral communication and facilitation skills; must have outstanding presentation development and delivery skills.

  • Ability to influence others at all levels and move toward a common goal and definition of success by applying best practices for co-creation and leadership engagement.

  • Human-centric approach to designing and executing change management strategies, with an emphasis on the user or employee experience.

  • Growth minded with ability and willingness to learn and apply knowledge quickly. 

  • Change management skills, experience as a leader and strategic thinker, exemplifying effective communication and planning skills.

  • Deep foundational understanding and experience with change management principles, methodologies, and tools.

  • Ability to influence and clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences including presenting to multiple levels of an organization and executive leadership, ensuring focus in the full picture / messages vs. individual projects.

  • Solid understanding of how people experience change, and how change management affects their experience.

  • Ability to operate effectively across a global organization.

  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple competing demands effectively.

  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.

Compensation

The compensation range for the position in the U.S. is $120,360 to $228,840 based on a full-time schedule.  Your actual compensation may vary depending on your geography, job-related skills and experience.  For part time roles, the compensation will be adjusted appropriately. The pay or salary range will not be below any applicable state, city or local minimum wage requirement.

There is a different applicable compensation range for the following work locations:

California: $132,480 to $274,560 

Colorado: $120,360 to $228,840 

New York City: $144,480 to $274,560 

Washington: $132,480 to $251,640 

Washington DC: $132,480 to $251,640 

  

This position will be eligible for Kyndryl’s discretionary annual bonus program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Kyndryl’s applicable plans. You may also receive a comprehensive benefits package which includes medical and dental coverage, disability, retirement benefits, paid leave, and paid time off.  Note: If this is a sales commission eligible role, you will be eligible to participate in a sales commission plan in lieu of the annual discretionary bonus program.
